Help GitHub/Git submodule keeps linking to a commit that does not exist?

im using this theme => GitHub - michaelneuper/hugo-texify3: A LaTeX-style hugo theme with the gruvbox color scheme for personal blogging for my blog => GitHub - penne-not-pasta/blog

and it keeps linking a commit that does not exist therefore causing my build to fail when trying to push to github pages. ive tried everything i know how to do and nothing works. please help :sad_but_relieved_face:
