With instructions from (https://community.rstudio.com/t/posting-xaringan-presentation-on-blogdown/8212) to post Xaringan .rmd format slides by creating R/Build.R and put Xaringan .rmd slides in the Static folder. I was able to render my website on my local laptop. but When I deploy the netlify website, it failed to build the website.
Then I updated the Hugo version to 0.55.2 and the latest academic theme V4.6. and I couldn’t render the website on my local machine anymore. Here is the screen shot:
Thanks for your reply. Maiki I posted my issue/questions here and the theme community and haven’t posted the issue on github yet. I don’t know where the problem is coming from based on the errors. and if someone could point out the direction for the issue, that will be great.
The Academic theme combines R/Blowdown with Hugo in ways the general Hugo community doesn’t know or use. @neutreno should be able to provide guidance. I recommend you creating an issue in the issue tracker for the theme, to make the developers aware of your issue, as surely it affects other users of Xarigan .rmd files, and is an important use case to cover in documetation.
