Need help in choosing a theme

Hi all! I need some help in choosing a theme.
I developed a web site a couple years ago using “hugo-nederburg-theme” and now i need to update the web site but … cannot find nederburg anymore on hugo, so I’d like to choose a new theme.
Any advice for a simple theme … please -simple- … I’m not a dev and I’d like to spend my time in writing contents for the web site instead of struggling in theme install/configuration :smiley:

By this, do you mean you need to–

  1. Update the theme version?; or
  2. Update the website design?

Anyway, here’s the theme you are currently using but it seems abandoned GitHub - appernetic/hugo-nederburg-theme: Nederburg is a fast and secure hugo theme and is a port of the Tracks WP theme

Yes, as it seems abandoned I’d like to switch to another theme.
About the “update” I mean to:

  • switch to another theme
  • add new contents :slight_smile:

Thx Arif … I know how to add content and where to find themes :slightly_smiling_face:
I’m seeking advice about a simple theme, suitable for my website. I don’t have the time to drill down every theme. I’ve done this for a couple of themes but it’s very time consuming, as I’m not a dev, you know.

Hugo themes are not just “plug and play”. You will need to adjust features from your old theme to match the new one. So, if you don’t have the requisite knowledge to do that, I suggest you pay someone to do it, by posting in the services section.

Had a quick look at your site.

Looks like a blog

  • pagination on homepage
  • teaser cards for pages
  • blog pages with images and text
  • and a simple menu

Nearly all blog posts should be able to do so

Maybe a search with the buzzwords will help
Simple, blog, pagination, theme , hugo

Simple is something very subjective

Just choose one and see

Or just stay on the old one and add the new content…

If you dont need any changes no need to change
