Meta Tags Not read on Homepage

Hello. I’ve built a site and my meta tags are working properly on all interior pages, but the browser isn’t seeing them on the homepage, even though I can see them in page source.

I’m calling a partial called meta.html from baseof.html. It’s showing up in the HTML, but description and photo aren’t showing up when I share the URL like it does for interior pages.

You are talking about embed and opengraph stuff. This isn’t a Hugo issue, as it is producing the output you want. You should approach this from where it isn’t embedding. And there are validators to check this for you as well.

Thank you! I’ve been searching far and wide and no luck. I agree that it is likely not a Hugo issue since the pages are generating properly.
