Lilypond generation in Hugo

Hello!

I found a reference to Lilypond in the discussion about an exec template function in Github. This thread at some point closed with a reference to this forum, where I cannot find anything as of yet on using Lilypond with Hugo. Does anyone have this working and/or is there any development in (safe or not) having an exec template or something similar in Hugo?

LilyPond snippets can be rendered also by lyluatex through lualatex.
