Hugoplate 2.0 is here!
It now fully supports Tailwind CSS v4.
This free starter template is better than ever for launching Hugo projects with a modern touch.

Here’s what’s new in 2.0:

  • Tailwind v4 Integration: Faster, cleaner styling with the latest version.
  • Removed SASS Dependency: Simpler setup, no SASS needed.
  • css.TailwindCSS Pipe: Uses Hugo’s new function for Tailwind (see css.TailwindCSS).
  • User-First Theme System: Added a custom plugin to set colors and fonts in Tailwind CSS without editing CSS files.

There’s room for improvement according to Yellow Lab Tools (specially that number of CSS rules). You might easily get close to :100: points.
