Homepage link from a theme is spam

How do I report https://themes.gohugo.io/bulma/'s homepage as a spam trap.

Thanks for the report @hendry

I confirm that the Homepage link is spam.

In the future please file spam reports at the dedicated Hugo Themes repo: https://github.com/gohugoio/hugoThemes

I will be taking action to take down the Bulma theme soon and I will discuss measures to prevent this from happening again with the other maintainers in due course.

Spam is not tolerated on Hugo Themes.

Theme removed in https://github.com/gohugoio/hugoThemes/commit/52101390e6b31f7e429b7309f37708d605b5d67a

Missed the link for https://github.com/gohugoio/hugoThemes from https://themes.gohugo.io/bulma/ … maybe it should be more prominent?

There is no link to the Hugo Themes repo on the website because it does not quite belong on the front end.

If it’s not prominently advertised, how is it to be found?

Was thinking you would just update the Homepage link. Not remove the Theme entirely …

I doubt the author did this.

The theme was removed because it has been left unmaintained and the author did not fix the homepage link before the domain was hijacked.

As for your other question I have already replied.

Note that I am busy I do not have the time for any more discussion.

@hendry I saw your Tweet about this thread, which I assume was ironic/negative.

I hope/think it helps to understand that the work @alexandros and I and others are doing on the Hugo project is done on top of work and other daily activities, so it has to be effective to be realistically possible. That requires some black/white rules – that I understand will create some friction. But at 300 themes, even spending 10 minutes on each of them is like … 50 hours of work.

We may need to put some harder quality criterias into play, eventually, to trim down on the number of themes. But for now, this is what it is.
