Configure vertical space above site footer in ananke theme

The ananke theme has by default quite a lot (too much in my opinion) of vertical space above the site footer. Is it possible to configure this without overriding the whole layouts/_default/baseof.html template?

Problem is the class="pb7" here:

Just override the file.
