Ananke: own color palette

I am new to Hugo but eager to dig into it. I thought I should start with a basic theme like Ananke and adapt it to my needs.

I like to change the color palette. As I understand the main css file (app.d98f2eb6bcd1eaedb7edf166bd16af26.css) in the static/dist directory is generated via Tachyons and other tools from the code in the src directory.

Can somebody point me to some documentation or tutorials how this is working and how I can adapt it?

Those files are loaded AFTER the builtin stylesheet and you can overwrite the settings from there.
