Anyone tested GitJournal? (an Android/Iphone app to edit Markdown files through Git)

Hi there,

I stumbled upon GitJournal.io, a FOSS project allowing to edit Markdown file hosted on Github, Gitlab, with custom Front Matter.

It looks promising, and may fill the gap between smartphones and Hugo websites edition.

Has anyone already tested it with Hugo?

I tested it and it works well with Github, however it has a few problems. Selecting text is buggy and if you open a file that uses YAML frontmatter it will be reformatted to a weird syntax. With TOML it’s fine though, but the app won’t read the metadata.
