Hello, not exactly a Hugo feature, but recently there’s been a lot of development in tools for easier editing of markdown files with front-matter like Netlify CMS, Forestry and many others I’m sure.
Today I wanted to share GitLab’s new Static Site Editor feature. It’s basically an extension of their web IDE with support for front-matter. Since it’s built-in to GitLab it could be super handy for static sites like Hugo.
Currently only Middleman is supported, but maybe together we can find a way to make Hugo the next one! The issue to support Hugo is here: https://gitlab.com/groups/gitlab-org/-/epics/4320.
