Which CMS?

Hi,

I have a site that runs on Cloudflare, (and I don’t want to move it as it was a faff finding the right server).

I think there used to be a CMS called Forestry. Now there are things like Decap and Sveltia…

Can anyone recommend a CMS?

Hi, now I’ve stopped my search at Tina CMS:

  • minimum setup required from the start;
  • works with Hugo out of the box;
  • easy customization;
  • can be used on a local machine without a server.

In any case, everything depends on your tasks and requirements.

Use the search bar. Various topics have addressed this issue. I want to try Decap CMS myself.

I’d go with Sveltia. It’s faster, the maintainer is responsive to bug reports, and it can access local repositories without running a second server.

I have a Hugo module, GitHub - basa-casa/admin-hugo: basa-casa/admin collections and fields for managing hugo site configuration, content, and data. that gives you a start and edits Hugo configuration and Sveltia CMS files in addition to content.

You can try PageCMS. I think it works well on mobile devices, and it’s also very convenient to deploy on Vercel.
