Upgrading to lunr 2 search - for "tags" search

Has anyone here upgraded to lunr 2? To be specific, the lunr version I have 2.3.2.

I would like search in Hugo to work with tags. That is, I would like to type “tags:x” in the search box.

I was able to upgrade to lunr 2. Tagged search works.

If I use the auto-complete library from Pixaby, tagged search doesn’t work.

If I use the horsey library or no auto complete library at all, then lunr 2 and tagged search works.
