For the last few weeks I have been working on Enwrite, a tool for producing a website or blog from contents stored in Evernote. For now it only knows how to produce output suitable for Hugo, so I thought it’d be fitting to give the Hugo community a preview before I announce it to a wider audience It’s still pretty basic and a bit rough around the edges, but I’m already using it to fully generate the website for my book. Given a freshly-generated Hugo site, Enwrite populates it with everything needed (including theme, Hugo config file, contents, etc.) from one of my Evernote notebooks.
If you are an Evernote user, I’d love for you to give it a try and to hear what you think about it, and what you think it still needs. I’m a fairly novice Hugo user, so I’d also welcome any comments about the Hugo-specific parts and the output it produces. I’m actively working on it, so any input is very welcome!
