After using Hugo to build a design system documentation site for work, I decided to also apply it to my personal site: https://www.bradbice.com
One portion I’m particularly proud of is the Ratings section, which is currently tracking 736 movies, and still builds 1000+ pages in 936 ms. There’s a bunch of {{range}}-fu in there to grab all of the database records and report back.
Anyways, it’s not the best and I’m not an expert by any means, but working with Hugo is both fun and fast, and I love it.
