Need developer to clean up and finish small company web site

I’m not in the web site development industry but have maintained my html/css company web site for more than 2 decades. It need upgrading to features Hugo provides but I don’t know Go’s templating language well enough to fix errors and get the site working. I have the content and structure using the Justice theme, but it needs a few additions.

I have a very limited budget and would like to hire someone to clean up the site (hosted on github with lipso content) and add a couple of images, a search capability and a side menu for blog posts.

Thank you. I have a local contact who’s developed several websites using
Hugo and he’s working with me to produce an upgrade to my existing web site.
Since we’ve known each other for a couple of decades and he’s not charging
me for his help I’m taking advantage of it.
