Is it possible to "follow" certain pages?

Hi there.

I’ve searched in the forums and the docs but didn’t get any hits back. I’ve been asked this question by a colleague today at work about a site we run with Hugo:
- Is it possible to “follow” certain pages? So we get an email when this page is updated?
Anyone knows if such a thing is possible out of the box (I don’t think so as Hugo is static), or is any further instrumentation needed?

The short answer is no, at least not by email. Hugo does produce RSS feeds by default, which could be used to notify subscribers when new posts/articles are published, either for every post or only for certain categories/tags/topics. I’m not sure if subscribers gets notified if a page is updated though.
