Where does I begin? I would like it as simple as possible.

First things first:

  1. Are you trying to create a one-page site or are you trying to create a single-page template that will be used for multiple pages across your site?
  2. Have you started a project yet? If yes, do you have this project in source control?
  3. Have you read through the docs?

First things first:

Are you trying to create a one-page site or are you trying to create a single-page template that will be used for multiple pages across your site?

The first option. I want create a one page site. If I could do the latter without compromising simplicity, I would; but I hope it is not neccessary to understand creating templates.

Have you started a project yet?

Yes. I did try, but I was without success and I ’ thinking a consulted new start would be the best option.

If yes, do you have this project in source control?

Yes - if you mean, that I am the one making the source.

Have you read through the docs?

Yes, since several days. Bu they are not so easy to understand or I have a bad imagination about the right way to go.

ADDENDUM: Regarding the docs
I would be happy to read a simple example, which could be followed step by step, to get a good understanding of the do and dont’s. The actual documentation is not very helpful in this regard, which I’m sorry about.
