Hugo showing 404 not found index when it run on localhost

old user but idk my hugo site accidentally going to 404 after change the website domain (hosted on github), yep i never touch it until my old domain expired. guess i missing something in setting.

i also try run on localhost and it’s work flawlessy, hmm confusing
just in case, i use subdomain (subdomain.domain.com) format

nvm it solved by changing the baseURL on config.toml from “/” to “.”

Neither of those are valid base URLs:
https://gohugo.io/getting-started/configuration/#baseurl

For anyone stumbling across this thread, don’t do that.
