If you can’t find a suitable comment system for your blog, I’ve written a small tutorial on how to create your own comment system hosted on Firebase. It’s very customizable and has XSS filters. However, there’s no moderation and there’s no email notifications. It’s suited for small blogs with few comments in which there’s no rush for paid services when you receive 1 comment per 3 months.
