I want to cut apart a long article into several pages，how to do it? or which part of the docs should I read?
- Separate the parts you want to be on each page
- Put each in their own content file
- Relate them in front matter

Hugo has changed a lot since then so it’s possible you’ll need to make some changes to his strategy, but it should give you an idea of how to do this.
