Hello. I recently changed operating systems and figured that I could just git clone my site from my github repo. But it turns out there is only the compiled version of the webpages. Is there a way I could get my md files back and get my hugo (directory structure etc) to its original form?
No.
You might check back through your commits to see if the source files were there at some point, but it doesn’t sound promising.
