Generating Gopher sites with Hugo

I came across this fun article detailing how to generate a Gopher site using Hugo: https://jfm.carcosa.net/blog/computing/hugo-gopher/

How hard would it be to make Hugo officially support the Gopher protocol? To (a) automatically generate a Gopher version of your website, and (b) have the built-in Hugo server serve it up over the Gopher protocol?

I just think that a Gopher server written in Go would be appropriate :slight_smile:

Looks like there’s a Gopher library in Go which supports servers. I might do this once I’m finished with the web redesign…
