It is said that shoemakers are the most poorly shod. It’s very true.
My own web site, 30th years running so far (mainly doing the sleeping beauty since 2003) got a fully major revamp (mobile and computer) and I could use my Hugo skills for myself, for one.
Again thanks to Bep and all the contributors. Such a great tool.
I’ve had a blog/site up for 12 years (changed domains a couple of times), and have been using Hugo for the last few, making my own layouts for it. But you put my streak to shame a bit. lol
I agree. Hugo has been good to me so far.
I even made two aliases for it in my dotfiles:
alias hs="hugo server --disableFastRender -D && rm -r public" # Runs hugo server with disable fastrender and drafts enabled, then removes publid dir after Ctrl-C'd out
alias us="./uploadsite.sh" # runs my upload site script for the site I'm actively in, typically runs hugo and then uploads it via rsync, using ssh key auth to verify it's from my computer/user account.
