Custom page for a tag

my taxonomy and terms pages use layouts/_default/list.html

I want additional text content on some tags’ pages. A tag URL is /subject/tagname/ , so created a page under content/subject/tagname.md

List template contains {{ .Content }} but no content is displayed.

Try

content/subject/tagname/_index.md

I tried this too, no effect

If this is related to your earlier post, your taxonomy is named “tags”, not “subject”.

hugo new tags/tag-a/_index.md

Now, It works but another problem came up.

I lost paginated post list.
