Chrome-only issue: menu topics obscured

When I open our documentation site in Chrome, some of the menu options look like they’re being overwritten by something else (see screenshot). The problem does not appear in Firefox or Opera.

I’ve tried reinstalling Chrome from scratch. I’ve even rm -rfd’ the ./config/google-chrome directory. Same result.

I’m running Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS
Chrome versions:

  • Version 120.0.6099.216 (Official Build) (64-bit)
  • Version 120.0.6099.224 (Official Build) (64-bit)

I am unable to reproduce the problem with Google Chrome, Version 120.0.6099.216 (Official Build) (64-bit), regardless of window width.
