Best approach for translation on different server

Hello,

I want to use Hugo for public documentation and I’ll have 2 translations.

English version at URL help.mydomain .com
Romanian version at URL help.mydomain .ro

The two subdomains are on different servers, even different countries.

What would be the best approach for this?

  • Does Hugo multilingual allow this configuration?
  • Or would it be better to setup 2 totally independent Hugo projects for the two translations?

Thank you,

Oh, man, why did I kept using Jekyll and MkDocs? Hugo looks really impressive and devs even thought about this one corner case.

Thanks!
