Adding links in config.yaml Theme Fresh

I am building a website using theme fresh. So far so good. The website compiles correctly. Now, I have a folder “blog” with two posts inside (all provided in the example site). If I try to point the section “News” to the folder using

navbar:

  • title: News
    url: /blog/

After hugo server, if I click on News I get a white page. I tried also content/blog/

Does someone can explain how to do this? It must be very trivial , but it’s my first time building a static website.

The project repository for testing can be found here:

You are more likely to receive a prompt and accurate response if you post a link to your project’s Git repository.

See Requesting Help.

Let us see your code

Include a link to the source code repository of your project, because we really need the context of seeing your templates and partials to be able to help you. It is trivial to do a quick git clone on your repo, then run hugo server in your project, to help you out. On the other hand, recreating your code from screenshots, or sort of guessing at it, is not.

If you can’t share your repository for whatever reason, consider creating a dummy repo that you can share, which reproduces the problem you’re experiencing.

Thanks. Sorry, I added it now.

I suspect that it is private instead of public.

Sorry again. Now it’s public.

It looks like this theme was designed to be a single page:
https://github.com/StefMa/hugo-fresh/blob/master/layouts/_default/list.html

Run hugo server, then visit http://localhost:1313/blog/, then view source (typically Ctrl+U in your browser).

And the theme’s documentation is non-existent.
