Hello everyone,

I’m relatively new to Hugo and I’ve been exploring a little bit themes. I chose this theme called dead and I started playing with it. I used the command Hugo server to just look at a preview on the local host but when I uploaded it into GitHub and deployed it with pages a total different page came up instead of the one I was looking at when I whilest in local host.

Can you check that the files in your github repository are the files on your local computer? The github repository you shared looks like a theme, not a site.

Have a look again at the Hugo Quickstart and the Directory Structure pages in the Hugo Docs.
