I’ve run through the quick start guide. I’ve started the server. But it just gives me a big banner saying “My New Hugo Site” and nothing else. The first post is missing.
I tried generating the site by running hugo. I can see it generated my first post, but it’s not there from the main page.
What gives?
Are you following the exact steps? Including using that exact theme?
If so, can you copy/paste the commands you typed in the terminal, and the resulting outputs on the terminal?
Well…I had tried it three times yesterday, on two different hosts. Then I did it again this morning why recording all the steps and it worked fine. Looking at my bash history I can’t figure out why. So this is my bad, I guess. Sorry!
