Sitepins CMS is out of beta. Over 35% of our users now manage Hugo sites on the platform

Hey everyone,
Back in July 2025, I shared Sitepins (a Git-based CMS for SSGs like Hugo) here when it was still in beta.
A lot of you tried it, gave feedback, and stuck with us. Thank you for that. :folded_hands:

We’ve been improving things since then. Here are few features we’ve added:
Hugo shortcode support, configuration files management, branching workflow, email-only team access (no GitHub account needed), raw code edits, version rollback, global search, file sorting, SEO suggestions, GitLab support, dark mode, and more. We’ve also improved the overall UI and UX.

Over 35% of our users are managing Hugo websites. We’re glad Sitepins is useful to the Hugo community specifically.

What’s next?
We’re always improving it.
If you’ve tried Sitepins and have feedback or a feature request, please share it.
We read everything and prioritize what the community asks for.

If you want to try it out, Hugoplate (1500+ Github Stars) is a popular free Hugo starter template that comes pre-configured with Sitepins. You can get a new Hugo site up and running in a few minutes.

Curious: What is the full “pie diagram” look like for all of the SSGs?

Hi @bep,
Here is the pie chart. Based on 1000 projects.

So does your CMS cater more to Astro with integration for Server Side Renderings supported by Astro ? Or is there any other reason for larger share being for Astro ?

No special Astro integration. Sitepins is framework-agnostic at its core.
Astro has had strong growth over the past couple of years. May be thats the reason.
