RSS Title

I’m trying to customize the title for my RSS feed. My title value in my config is “Raymond Camden”. The RSS template is outputting “Raymond Camden on Raymond Camden”, which is a bit silly. Looking at the templates (https://gohugo.io/templates/rss/) it seems that it uses this format if .Title isn’t equal to .Site.Title. I’m not sure how to correct this because Raymond Camden seems to be equal to Raymond Camden.

Any suggestions?

Simple. Copy the default template to a new file and save it under /layouts/index.rss.xml

Then change the title tag to: <title>{{ .Site.Title }}</title>

Thank you. That worked, but the code from here (https://gohugo.io/templates/rss/) does not seem to be what my previous feed was generated from. It doesn’t limit to posts and it has nearly all of my content, not the last ten pages. Is that link not correct anymore? (I mean for the template.)

I used this ({{ range first 10 (where .Data.Pages.ByDate.Reverse "Section" "post")}}) but I’m curious as to why the RSS template doesn’t do any filtering/sorting/limiting?
