Right markdown code for link to category page?

Hello,
I have just started with hugo.
Now have the problem that I want to insert in a post, a link to a category page.
What must the markdown code look like for a link? Link are http://localhost:1313/categories/testpostings/

There is doubtless a more Hugo’y way but perhaps simply use /categories/testpostings as the link since that will work no matter what the base URL.
