Random numbered directories are being generated

I was looking in my public folder and I noticed several directories named “1”, “2”, and “3”. Each has an index.html that simply redirects to my homepage.

I’m not sure where they are coming for and why they exist? What is causing it?

My Hugo version is 40.1.

Might be pagination.

Yes it definitely looks like it’s pagination.
