Issue: Need to render my own svg logo, not sure how to edit svg.toml without breaking anything.

What I need to do is get logo.svg into the SVG.toml file and do I then move the SVG.toml file from siteroot-themes-meme/data into siteroot-data?

So, I just tried and I don’t understand your problem. Pasting the whole <svg> block as the brand inside the SVG.toml and setting the siteBrandSVG = true in the config.toml worked just fine.

Thank you very much for the reply. My problem is I am not at all familiar with Hugo, although I’m putting in the time to learn. My experience with svg is limited. So I’m slowly getting there.
Question: How did you get M23 ....and so on that you added to the SVG.toml
from my logo.svg

Sorry to resurrect this, but I could use one more bit of advice.
Simpler svg files work fine, however, anything like this seems to cry foul on me.

Seems like the break is at line 21, which is the area starting with <svg xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/"
I’ve tried different svg files also created using Inkscape and all have failed except for very simple attempts - shapes on black only.
Any ideas or thoughts appreciated.
It seems the culprits are the three 'sans-serif, Bold' (single quotes).
