KaTeX not rendering

I’m using the Researcher theme, and as instructed, I’ve set math: true in the configuration header of the page that I would like to have some math in.

But then, when I try it out as so:

$$
\mathcal{A} = \frac{1}{B}
$$

it does not render as math. It just shows up verbatim.

Is there something I might be missing?

@jmooring Thank you! I did not find that instruction anywhere. I suppose I did not know what to search for.
