Installing older version Hugo MacOS

Can anybody help me how can I downgrade version of Hugo, I accidentally upgraded to last version (0.154.3) and one site does not work.
I would like to revert back to 0.151.0 where everything works.I am using Homebrew and trying all available methods that I found but can’t downgrade.

Downgrading a homebrew installation is a hassle. I’d use a different installation method.

Thanks for your answer @jmooring but this method does not work on MacOS I already tried with no luck.

If you can’t make it work, use a different installation method.

I’ve updated and tested the procedure… works great.

I install an older version of Hugo with different method and everything is fine.

I try your new suggestion and now worked, maybe HOMEBREW_DEVELOPER=truedid the trick.
