Install Hugo from source fail with: "malformed module path "embed""

Hi all,

I am trying to install Hugo on my machine and using the sources. But it is currently failing with this message:

build github.com/gohugoio/hugo: cannot load embed: malformed module path "embed": missing dot in first path element

My Go Version is “go version go1.13.8 linux/amd64”.
I do not have any root access on that machine, so I am not able to change the versions by myself.

Hugo 0.95.0 only builds with >= Go 1.18

If you can’t upgrade Go, install the appropriate binary from:
https://github.com/gohugoio/hugo/releases/latest
