Hugo not building up the public folder correctly

Website link: https://jainilv1.netlify.app/

When I try to run the hugo command to build the public folder - it is not able to make posts folder (so I miss getting my blog pages there) but when I run hugo server command and do some little change in the _index.md file and save the file, then the folder gets generated. Now when I check the index.html file of that blog pages - I find that all the redirects are happening to localhost. So it runs perfectly fine when hosted locally but when I deploy it on netlify, the page does not load up.

Change index.md in the content folder to _index.md. thejainil.github.io/content at main · thejainil/thejainil.github.io · GitHub
