How to show shortcodes

Hi, how to show shortcodes in the markdown files and prevent the rendering of these. I will Showcase some of them for documentation.

Like this. The /* and */ will be parsed out and not shown… I don’t think that you can use spaces in the first and last 5 characters of my sample.

PS: not sure if that works outside of highlighting… on the other side you don’t want to show the shortcode without highlighting?
