How to create index.html and similar pages

Please, explain me how to create index.html (the main page) and other pages such as about.html, news.html and contacts.html by means of the Hugo. How to do it correctly? :flushed:

I suggest you go read and try to understand the relevant parts of the documentation, and then come back with more specific questions. Questions of the type “tell me everything” isn’t going to get any traction.
