How to create a page without default layout/styling?

I’ve added a html file to the Content folder.
Right now my theme’s CSS & Layout is being applied to it, how can I make it so they are not?

Your use case may not be supported. Put your site’s code online somewhere and link to it, and someone will advise you.

Do I understand correctly, that you want to have a piece of content in an HTML file, that’s not processed by Hugo – just displayed as is? In that case, how about placing it inside /static/ instead of /content/?
