How to add blank lines/spaces?

Hey there,

I was wondering if anyone is able to advise me how to add white space/blank lines in my markdown file?

I would like to add it after an image as it’s a bit too close, I have been having trouble and can’t figure it out.

Thank you for your help!

Use CSS. That’s not something to handle in markdown.

Oh okay I’m sorry I didn’t know that.

But would I’d be able to use CSS within the .md file?

That makes no sense. If you have the impression that the line spacing is too narrow in MD, you might want to change your editor settings. MD is only an input format, as Hugo will transform it into HTML.

But

this must refer to the HTML, not to MD. To that, CSS is the answer

I get what you mean now, forgive me.

So I’d likely change those settings in .editorconfig for example, correct?

Thanks again
