How does one set the default permalink format?

I would like to set the default permalink format to /:sections/:year/:month/:day/:slug/ so that any new sections I add will automatically have this format unless I override it? Is this possible today?

That shows how to change it only for content in the post section, not all sections by default.

The permalinks option in your site configuration allows you to adjust the directory paths (i.e., the URLs) on a per-section basis.

I misread your question. No what you want is not currently available. Maybe you should open a GitHub issue. Also I don’t know if it’s possible.
