Error: Error building site: open C:\Hugo\hugo-resume\content: The system cannot find the file specified

I can’t get hugo serve to work on several new themes I just downloaded. Here is the error when I type “hugo serve”

Error: Error building site: open C:\Hugo\hugo-resume\content: The system cannot find the file specified.

This happens on several sites. I’m currently working on hugo-resume

Did you download this theme into an existing site? If so, what folder are you running hugo server from?

Or are you running the exampleSite of this theme?
