I am also wondering about this.

But I want to disable not only /authors, but also /authors/name.html.

The ideas is that I would like to include the content of /authors/name.html to some other page.

I know we could use data + markdownify, but markdownify does not support shortcodes, etc… so it would be a pain to specify custom content with data.
