Use HTML comments instead.
In v0.137.0 we began emitting warnings when content authors mixed raw HTML with their Markdown. HTML comments (e.g., <!-- foo -->
) are also raw HTML, so we created the “comment” shortcode as an alternative.
In v0.142.0 and later we don’t emit a warning when you mix HTML comments with your Markdown, so the “comment” shortcode is no longer needed, and should not be used.
