Define template for subsection

I want to define a template for

content/section-1/subsection-1/_index.html

I tried

layouts/section-1/subsection-1/list.html

but it doesn’t work. What am I doing wrong?

The only current way of doing this is to set the type in that sections’ cascade section.

I want to define the template only for one page.

The following works:

Add type = "subsection-1" to the front matter of content/section-1/subsection-1/_index.html and then I can define a template under layouts/subsection-1/list.html.
