'content' folder is not rendering in Hugo-Tailwind CSS

Hi,
I would like to create Hugo site with Tailwind CSS. When I create a blog page by adding file ‘_index.md’ to location “contents/blog/”, I am receiving the error ‘Failed to read Git log’. As a conclusion, I am not able to render content as blog page.
Anyone please provide a solution for it?

How did you install Hugo?

Which version of Hugo?
Which version of git?
