Can I use the Math functions in the Markdown posts?

Hey. Wonder I it’s possible to use the Math functions when writing the post in MD. Shortcodes are not helpful here I believe.

Sample:

# Hey!
And this is some text. I like doing math so {{add(1 1)}}.

A tip that I don’t believe is too well presented in the docs: You can reuse inline shortcodes with the same name later in the same file with different arguments – which can be very useful.
